The content on this site, including service pages, articles and FAQs, is general information about UAE accounting, tax and business regulations. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice and does not take your circumstances into account.

UAE laws, Federal Tax Authority guidance, thresholds and deadlines change. Although we work to keep content accurate and current, we do not guarantee that it is complete or up to date. Always confirm your position with a qualified adviser before acting.

Using the site or contacting us does not create a client relationship. A client relationship starts only when we both sign an engagement letter that sets out the scope of our services and our fees.

Our VAT, Corporate Tax and other calculators give estimates based on simplified assumptions and the figures you enter. They are provided free of charge, for guidance only, and must not be used as the basis for a tax return or filing. Calculations run in your browser and are not stored by us.

The site’s text, graphics, logos and design belong to SMAS Venture or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.

You must not misuse the site. This includes submitting false or misleading information, sending spam through our forms, trying to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers, or introducing malicious code.

We link to government portals and other websites for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information or tool results on this site, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law. Our liability for services we provide to clients is governed by the relevant engagement letter.

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the emirate in which we are licensed. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates. If these terms are translated, the English and Arabic versions are both authoritative; in case of conflict, the Arabic version prevails where UAE law requires it.
