01What our engagement covers

Bookkeeping and financial record maintenance: we keep accurate, complete financial records in line with the applicable accounting standards and regulations. That covers sales invoices and accounts receivable, vendor expenses and accounts payable, end-to-end payroll and employee compensation, and routine journal entries with a fully maintained general ledger.

VAT and Corporate Tax compliance: we prepare and file your VAT and Corporate Tax returns within the due dates under UAE tax law, and keep the supporting VAT and Corporate Tax records properly maintained and reconciled.

Audit of financial statements: we make sure the accounts are complete, accurate and fully reconciled ahead of the annual audit. The audit itself is agreed under a separate engagement letter at year end.

Reporting and communication: management receives regular updates on the state of the books, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and audit readiness, and we raise any issue, discrepancy or point needing attention straight away.

02What good bookkeeping looks like

Every transaction recorded against a sensible chart of accounts, every bank and card account reconciled to the statement, supplier and customer balances agreed, and a month-end close that produces a profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow you can act on. Done monthly, it takes hours. Done once a year, it takes weeks and still leaves gaps.

03Why it matters more under Corporate Tax

Your Corporate Tax computation starts from accounting profit, so errors in the books become errors in the return. VAT returns are built from the same ledger. Keeping both tax positions right is far easier when the underlying records are complete and reconciled every month.

04How we work with your software

We work in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero and Tally, or set one up for you. Bank feeds, document capture and approval workflows reduce the paperwork on your side to a short monthly checklist.

  1. 1

    Collect

You share invoices, receipts and statements through a secure channel; we chase anything missing.

  2. 2

    Record

Every transaction is coded to the chart of accounts with the correct VAT treatment.

  3. 3

    Reconcile

Bank, card, payables, receivables and inventory are agreed to source documents.

  4. 4

    Report

You receive P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and a short commentary on a fixed date.

Yes. UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws require businesses to keep accounting records and supporting documents that allow their tax position to be verified, generally for at least seven years.
