Accounting & Finance

Good bookkeeping is a routine, not a year-end rescue. Every month we record your sales invoices and vendor bills, post payroll, reconcile your bank, card and petty cash accounts and close the period with a clear set of reports. Your records are kept in the form UAE VAT and Corporate Tax rules expect, so returns, audits and bank requests never start with a clean-up.

Vendor bills, expense claims and supplier payments
Payroll and end-of-service journals posted each month
Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations
General ledger upkeep with a consistent chart of accounts
Monthly close with profit and loss, balance sheet and ageing reports

01

Books that are always current

Each month is closed on time, so you know your cash, receivables and payables without waiting for year end.

02

Tax-ready records

Transactions are coded for VAT and supported by documents, ready for returns and Corporate Tax filing.

03

Less time on admin

You send the documents; we do the recording, matching and follow-up on missing items.

04

A clean trail for audits

Reconciled ledgers and organised source documents make audits and bank reviews faster.

01What a monthly bookkeeping cycle looks like

During the month we record sales invoices and receipts, vendor bills and payments, and payroll as it is processed. Bank, card and petty cash movements are matched to their source documents as they come in.

At month end we reconcile every account, review receivables and payables, post accruals and payroll journals, and send you a short pack with the profit and loss, balance sheet and ageing reports.

02Records kept the way UAE law expects

The FTA expects tax invoices, credit notes, import documents and ledgers that tie back to your returns. Corporate Tax adds the requirement to keep records that support your taxable income for at least seven years.

We file each transaction with its supporting document, so the evidence behind any figure can be found in minutes rather than days.

03Catching up on late books

If your books are behind, we start with a catch-up project that rebuilds the missing months from bank statements and documents, then move you onto the monthly routine.

Because SMAS Venture is a bookkeeping-first firm, the same team that keeps your books also supports your VAT and Corporate Tax filings.
