VAT

Every VAT-registered business must file a return and pay any tax due by the 28th day after the end of each tax period. A return is only as good as the books behind it, so we prepare yours from reconciled, VAT-coded ledgers, check every box against source documents and file on EmaraTax well before the deadline.

01

No missed deadlines

Your filing calendar is managed for you, with reminders well before day 28.

02

Recover every dirham

Eligible input VAT is captured and supported by valid tax invoices.

03

Fewer corrections

Returns tie back to the ledger, so errors are caught before filing, not after.

04

Audit-ready files

Each return comes with working papers you can hand straight to the FTA.

01Built on reconciled books

Most VAT errors start in the books: a missing invoice, a wrong tax code or an import that never reached the ledger. We reconcile bank, sales and purchase records before we touch the return.

That approach means the figures you file are the figures in your accounts, which is exactly what the FTA checks during an audit.

02Getting the tricky items right

Imports, cross-border services, deemed supplies, discounts, credit notes and mixed-use expenses all need careful treatment. We apply the rules consistently and document our reasoning.

Where an item is genuinely uncertain, we tell you, explain the options and, if needed, recommend a clarification request to the FTA.

03When an error is found

If we discover a mistake from an earlier period, we assess its value and advise whether it can be corrected in the current return or needs a voluntary disclosure.

Acting quickly limits penalties and keeps your compliance history clean.
